The Lagos State Public Service Club has commended the Private Secretary to the President, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, for fulfilling his promise to the Club with the donation of a brand-new generator delivered on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
The Club described the gesture as a demonstration of generosity, goodwill and commitment to institutional development, noting that the generator would enhance operational efficiency, improve members’ comfort and strengthen its capacity to deliver better services.
Speaking on behalf of the Executive Council and the entire membership, the Club’s President, Comrade Olukayode Odunuga, described the donation as a timely intervention that would support the effective running of the facility and improve members’ overall experience.
He said the donation went beyond providing essential equipment, describing it as a testament to Muri-Okunola’s commitment to the growth, sustainability and advancement of the Club.
“We are particularly pleased that Mr. Muri-Okunola has fulfilled his promise, demonstrating that genuine goodwill is best expressed through tangible actions.
“His support will make a meaningful difference to our operations and further strengthen our resolve to position the Club as a centre for fellowship, professional engagement and the promotion of the collective interests of public servants,” Odunuga stated.
The Club President further emphasised that partnerships founded on trust, shared responsibility and a common commitment to institutional progress were essential to the Club’s sustainable development.
