Lagos permanent secretary bags NITAD award for hardwork, resourcefulness

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, Mr. Kamar Owodiran Olowoshago, has bagged the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) award for hard work and resourcefulness.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, Mr. Kamar Owodiran Olowoshago, has bagged the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) award for hard work and resourcefulness.

Receiving the award in his office at the Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, on Thursday, Mr. Olowoshago expressed his deep appreciation to NITAD for the honour bestowed on him, saying that the award has challenged him to put in more efforts in the discharge of his duties and responsibility.

Olowoshago assured that he will not relent in his determination to realise the Ministry’s mandate on Traffic Management and Transportation, pledging to uphold the implementation of government policies and programmes in the transport sector in line with the ongoing Multi-Modal Transportation Master plan.

Presenting the award to the Permanent Secretary, along with other Executive Members of the Institute, the Lagos State Branch Chairman, Dr. Oladele Oyatope, stated that the award was given in recognition of Olowoshago’s contributions to the development of NITAD and the State Government which is evident through his recent appointment.

Other members of NITAD Executives present during the award presentation included the former Lagos Branch Chairman of the Institute, Mr. Oluwaseyi Kotun; Assistant General Secretary, Mr. Abiola Oshodi and Treasurer, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Onasanya among others.

Mr. Olowoshago was a former Lagos State Branch Vice Chairman of NITAD and also served as a member of the Annual Conference of the Institute for a period of six years consecutively.
