LAGOS LG POLLS: Hon. Kasunmu commends constituency youth on peaceful conduct

The legislator representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK) has commended the youth in his Constituency for their active participation and peaceful conducts during the Local Government elections held across Lagos State today.

The legislator representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK) has commended the youth in his Constituency for their active participation and peaceful conducts during the Local Government elections held across Lagos State today.

The lawmaker made the commendations in a chat with newsmen shortly after casting his ballot at Polling Unit 043 in his Ikeja base this morning.

Hon. Kasunmu was warmly welcomed to the polling unit by scores of enthusiatic youth, men and women who were on ground to vote for the candidates of their choices.

In a brief interaction with the youth after voting, Hon. Kasunmu appreciated them for their support for democracy and for coming out to perform their civic responsibilities as expected.

He also encouraged them to sustain the tempo of participation exhibited during this Local Government elections as this is the only way to achieve the much desired youth emancipation and paradigm shift in power to the youths.

The lawmaker also commended the state electoral body, LASIEC, for the excellent performance seeing so far during this election, stating that Lagos state through LASIEC has proved that a hitch-free election is possible.

In conclusion, Hon. Kasunmu expressed optimism that *”Engr. Mojeed Balogun of the Ikeja LGA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku of Ojodu LCDA* as well as all the APC Councillorship Candidates would emerge victorious because we as a party has mobilised enough, so what we are waiting for now, is celebration of victory”.

He commended his Constituency leaders and all stakeholders for a job welldone.

Lagos pays N218.795 million bursary awards to 6,411 university students
