Lagos Govt seals illegal building construction in Ikoyi-Obalende/Lekki environs

The Lagos State Government has initiated enforcement action against illegal building construction in parts of Obalende, Ikoyi, and Lekki areas of Lagosians.

Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, spearheaded the enforcement exercise on Thursday, highlighting that the aim was to address the issue of illegal developments and enforce compliance with the state’s physical planning laws.

The Commissioner reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing a safe and sustainable built environment for the wellness and well-being of all Lagosians.
