Lagos Establishments Commissioner pledges purposeful Leadership 

Lagos State Commissioner for Establishments and Training, Mr. Afolabi Ayantayo, has pledged to provide purposeful leadership for the ministry to actualise its statutory mandate.

Lagos State Commissioner for Establishments and Training, Mr. Afolabi Ayantayo, has pledged to provide purposeful leadership for the ministry to actualise its statutory mandate.

He made the pledge, yesterday, at a meeting with the management staff of the ministry.  He assured the staff of the ministry that he was ready to offer required leadership for better performance and demanded greater efforts, co-operation and commitment from all staff, promising them that with their support, the ministry would actualise the mandate of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on capacity building.

“I therefore charge you all to intensify your efforts so that we can justify the confidence Mr. Governor reposed in us by delivering on the mandate of the ministry,” he said.

Describing human resource development as crucial to achieving the THEMES plus Agenda, the Commissioner, stated that it is imperative to design and pursue capacity building programmes to enhance skills and competencies required to drive government agenda.

Commending the organised labour for the relative peace experienced in the state, he assured them that the state government would continue to work closely with the state branch of Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress and their affiliates to maintain the industrial peace and harmony.
