The Lagos State Examinations Board has commenced the registration of students for the Year 2022 Universal Basic Education by Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS) and Placement Test.
A release signed by the Director of Exams Board, Mr. Supo Gbadegesin, informed that the registration which started on Tuesday, 4th January, 2022 will end on Friday, 29th April, 2022, adding that a circular, containing details for registration by Public Primary Schools and approved Private Primary Schools, has been sent to all schools in the State.
Gbadegesin informed that the public and approved Private Primary Schools are to generate their pupils’ examination slips online, just as the documents will also serve as admission slips to test venues on the examination day
He noted that all approved Private Primary Schools are to pay N5,000 per head after which the Registration PIN will be issued to facilitate the login of candidates’ bio-data and passport photographs on the Examinations Board Portal.
While noting that late registration will attract a penalty fee of N2,500 per candidate and damaged PIN to attract a penalty fee of N5,000 for replacement, the Director emphasised that in line with the State Government’s Policy, all payments to the Examinations Board must be through the Central Billing Systems for all examinations conducted by the Board.
To this end, he advised all Proprietors to register only primary six pupils eligible to participate in the UBE by CAS and collect payment details from the Liaison Officers in charge of their Zones at the Board, stressing that a copy of the Bank Teller evidencing payment must also be returned to the Accounts Department of the Board for the collection of an official receipt.
