— Comrade Muritala Seriki Champions Youth Empowerment Through Football and Renewed Hope Agenda
The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leader, Comrade Muritala Seriki, has called on young people across the state to take active part in the ongoing Lagos APC Chairman’s Cup, a football tournament aimed at discovering, empowering, and uniting emerging talents across the 20 Local Governments and 37 LCDAs of Lagos State.
Speaking at the APC State Secretariat in Ikeja, Comrade Seriki described the Chairman’s Cup as “a visionary grassroots initiative” that aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, designed to inspire productivity, foster unity, and promote youth engagement through sports.
He commended the Convener of the tournament, Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, for his dedication to youth development and for creating a platform that merges talent discovery with empowerment opportunities for Lagos youths under 21 years of age.

Registration forms are available at the APC State Secretariat, Acme Road, Ikeja, as well as at all Local Government and LCDA APC Secretariats across Lagos State.

Comrade Seriki further emphasized that all participants must possess a Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) — reinforcing the APC’s commitment to civic inclusion and political awareness among youths.
