The All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State Chapter, has dismissed reports alleging that its State Chairman directed the recall of all Supervisory Leadership Groups (SLGs) and supervisors to the party secretariat at Acme over purported instructions from the Presidential Villa.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the party described the claim as false, misleading and calculated to generate unnecessary tension within its ranks and the wider public.
The Lagos APC clarified that at no time did the State Chairman issue such a directive, nor is any emergency meeting scheduled as speculated in the reports.
The party reiterated its commitment to discipline, transparency and adherence to due process, stressing that its operations are guided by established procedures and collective decision-making.
According to the statement, the focus of the Lagos APC at this critical period remains the consolidation of its structures ahead of the forthcoming national elections. The party noted that it is intensifying internal coordination and mobilisation efforts aimed at ensuring preparedness and electoral success.
The chapter urged members, supporters and the general public to refrain from spreading unverified information capable of overheating the political environment. It assured that all official communications would continue to be disseminated through recognised and authorised channels.
The statement was signed by the Lagos State APC Spokesman, Mogaji (Hon.) Seye Oladejo, and dated March 4, 2026.
