Lagos APC Appoints Ogala as Head of Electoral Committee for Local Government Elections

As preparations intensify for the July 10 Local Government Elections, Lagos State APC has appointed an Electoral Committee, with Hon. Babatunde Ogala, former National Legal Adviser and Lagos State House of Assembly member, as chairman, and Mr. Babarinde Nurudeen as Secretary, to manage the elections for 57 Local Government Chairmanship offices and 376 Councillor positions.

As preparations intensify for the July 10 Local Government Elections, Lagos State APC has appointed an Electoral Committee, with Hon. Babatunde Ogala, former National Legal Adviser and Lagos State House of Assembly member, as chairman, and Mr. Babarinde Nurudeen as Secretary, to manage the elections for 57 Local Government Chairmanship offices and 376 Councillor positions.

Lagos APC Spokesman, Mogaji (Hon) Oluseye Oladejo in a press statement said “The committee is empowered to over-see all the activities and processes leading to the conduct of the elections in to the grassroots positions”.

Oladejo noted that “the party has considered the immense experience of the gentlemen in making the appointment. We have no doubt that they will deliver on this important assignments”.

“We urge all and sundry to give the requisite support and cooperation to ensure our collective success” he stated in conclusion.
