The Lagos State Ferry Services (Lagferry) and Elivate9ja, an online and offline raffle platform in Lagos on Friday hosted its second weekly flash raffle of the Sailin and Smiling promo at the Ebute Ojo terminal.
The Sailin and Smilin promo is designed with the sole objective of increasing the use of waterways in Lagos state and rewarding the Laferry passengers and intending passengers.
The promo which kicked off on the 1st of July with its first weekly flash raffle at the Falomo terminal continued its tour across the sixteen Jetties operated by Lagferry at the Ojo terminal on Friday.
The event kicked off at exactly 7 am, with Mr Oluwaseun Adu heading to work with a brand new Nokia Phone.
Mr Luis Adetoye was the proud winner of a standing fan while Mr Gentle Ogbonaya headed to work as the winner of a Go TV Decoder. Other prizes won include, a tabletop gas cooker, Rechargeable hand fan, Blender, Wall clock, pressing Iron, Hair Clipper, Life vest, Power Bank, Sandwich Maker, Electric Kettle etc.
The grand prize for the event which was a Samsung washing machine was won by Mr Clement Davis.
The Lagos State University Vice-Chancellor who was represented at the event by Prof. Charles Ojema commended the State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu for his efforts in making sure that Lagos achieves its ‘Mega City’ dream.
According to the Managing Director of Lagferry, Mr Abdoulbaq Ladi Balogun, the next flash raffle will be held at the CMS/Marina terminal on the 16th of July.
