The much awaited Free Medical Outreach was flagged-off yesterday in a colorful way. This is the 4th edition of BOSKOH/LAGOS FREE HEALTH MEDICAL MISSION, popularly termed JIGI BOLA RELAUNCH. The event witnessed a large turn out of people who were eager to take advantage of the free medical check up. Several services were carried out for free ranging:

.AUDIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT AND HEARING AID FITTINGS.
. DENTAL CARE, SCALING AND POLISHING, TOOTH EXTRACTION etc.
.CERVICAL CANCER AND BREAST CHECK
Present at the flag-off was the Vice Chairman, Omooba Adeola Adetoro Adeyanju who gave the welcome address as she also represented the Executive Chairman, Hon. Shared Adesegun Bankole who was unavoidably absent. She enjoined the populace to take advantage of the 3-day free health checkup and spread the word. She also thanked the Lagos state government for being particular at ensuring the citizens of Lagos State enjoy quality health care services which is part of the THEMES Agenda for the state.
The CEO of BOSKOH, Dr Nike OSA, addressed the people and gave a brief summary of why the free health check initiative and it’s importance in the community, giving kudos to the former governor and presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the brain behind this initiative, which came into existence during his tenure as the governor of Lagos State.
A goodwill message was given on behalf of the Baales in Eti-Osa by Chief Joseph Ibikunle Keshinro the Baale of Gedegede Ebute, who showered encomium on the Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the first Lady, Mrs Claudia Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, on their consistent efforts at bettering the life of the people. He also prayed for Asiwaju and his wife Senator Oluremi Tinubu for always sustaining all the several initiatives and pet projects they champion.
A symbolic representation was held by Dr. Eniola Erinosho, one of BOSKOH’s Excos, where he presented medicated glasses to some of the participants who had gone through the eye test and gotten proper prescription.
Also, notably present were the Chairperson, Mrs Munirat Shiyanbola Bankole, Mr, Wasiu Akintola, the Council Manager, Members of the Executive council of Eti -Osa, All the Baale’s from Eti-osa Local Government and some management staff of the council.
The SLG, Hon. Idowu Badru gave the vote of thanks.
