Iru/VI Council Chair, Princess Adu visit the collapsed building, sympathize with victims

The Executive Chairman, IRU/Victoria Island LCDA, Hon. Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu has visited the site of the collapsed seven-storey building at Oba Oniru Street and on behalf of the Executives, Management, Staff and the people of IRU/VI expressed sympathy with the victims and their families.

The Executive Chairman, IRU/Victoria Island LCDA, Hon. Princess Rasheedat Abiodun Adu has visited the site of the collapsed seven-storey building at Oba Oniru Street and on behalf of the Executives, Management, Staff and the people of IRU/VI expressed sympathy with the victims and their families.

The empathic message was made available to Lagos Panorama by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Chairman, Kausarat Olaleye, after the Chairman’s visit to the site on Monday.

Princess Adu in message said, “My sincere condolences to the families of the demise, it’s very sad. We should always consider our lives and that of those around us during construction by ensuring good, quality and durable materials are used. May we not experience this sad occurrence again Insha Allah”. Chairman

Also, the Chairman commended the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) team led by, Dr. Oluwafemi Oke-Osanyitolu and LASBCA for their prompt intervention.
