The high-profile delegation included Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo, Delta State APC Chairman Elder Omeni Sobotie, Senators Ede Dafinone (Delta Central) and Joel-Onowakpo Thomas (Delta South), Hon. Francis Waive (Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency), and Hon. Stella Okotete, former APC National Women Leader and Executive Director of NEXIM Bank.

According to Nwoko, during the meeting, the leaders provided Tinubu with an update on the state of the party in Delta, emphasizing ongoing efforts to promote internal democracy.

He said they also deliberated on governance-related matters affecting Delta State and the broader national landscape.

According to him, President Tinubu reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to strengthening the APC in Delta and advancing governance initiatives that would drive development in the state and the country at large.
