The Commandant General, NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Audi, made this known at the weekend while hosting Zamfara State governor, Dauda Lawal, at the NSCDC national headquarters in Abuja.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, ( PRO), of the Corps, Babawale Afolabi, the CG assured the visiting governor that the agency will not draw back in carrying out its mandate of civilian protection and the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.

Audi said, “The Corps is commitment to finding a lasting solution to the insecurity menace in Zamfara, and the NSCDC will deploy more personnel with the necessary logistic back up to further strengthen the NSCDC presence in the State.”

He adds that in line with the Zamfara state slogan, ‘Farming is our Pride’, the NSCDC will ensure that the persistent acs of banditry and other criminal activities are tackled to enable farmers to return to farms.
