Infrastructure: Samola begins construction of drainages on Okoafo-Ilogbo road

The Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area, Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde (SAMOLA) has commenced the construction of drainages on Okoafo-Ilogbo road in Olorunda LCDA.

_As desilting resumes on existing drainages._

The Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area, Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde (SAMOLA) has commenced the construction of drainages on Okoafo-Ilogbo road in Olorunda LCDA.

The construction began earlier today with men from the Works Department of the Council pictured working from the diversion off Lagos-Badagry expressway, towards the 800-metre road previously constructed and commissioned by the Samola-led government of the Council.

The drainage would represent one of the essential features of the road construction that is scheduled to commence in the coming weeks.

Equally, evacuation exercise began simultaneously on existing drainages as efforts are being intensified to ensure that solutions are finally proffered to the immemorial challenges of commuters in the axis.

On site with the Council Chairman were; Hon. Sesan Ajose,  Supervisor for Works, Hon. Dauda Aina, Chief of Staff, Hon. Isiaka Okunade, Environment Supervisor, Teams from the Works Department and Environment Department, led by the Council Engineer and Head of Environment Department respectively.
