The Executive Chairman, Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku has joined the good people of Ojodu LCDA in celebrating the 61st Independence Anniversary of our dear nation, Nigeria.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Council Chairman, he said this day, we reminiscence about our struggles towards the liberation of the “pride and giant of Africa” and celebrate the birth of freedom and sovereignty.
It is a day to emphasize and reaffirm the tenets upon which the structure of our dear nation was built.
Peaceful coexistence, without strife, acrimony, divisiveness, or prejudice; unity in diversity; hope for a better future; dutifulness and each contributing his developmental quota in ensuring a prosperous society; hospitality, dedication, and selflessness amongst others.
All these should be our watchwords as we strive to surmount seemingly fleeting challenges we might be passing through at the moment, and hope for an assured brighter and rewarding future.
