The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Prince Adeboye Adedapo Aremu Omisore, father of the Vice Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Abisola Omisore.
In a condolence message, Chairman AKOD described the late Prince Omisore as a distinguished elder statesman, accomplished entrepreneur, and exemplary public servant whose life was marked by integrity, humility, courage, and selfless service to humanity.
He noted that the deceased made significant contributions to grassroots development and community advancement, leaving behind a legacy of visionary leadership and dedicated service that will continue to inspire future generations.
Chairman AKOD also paid tribute to Prince Omisore’s remarkable public service career, particularly his tenure as the first Executive Chairman of Oranmiyan Local Government in Ile-Ife, where he earned widespread respect for his commitment to good governance and the welfare of the people.
On behalf of the Executive, Legislative Arm, Management, Staff, and the people of Ikeja Local Government, Chairman AKOD extended his heartfelt condolences to Hon. Abisola Omisore, the entire Omisore family, and all those affected by the loss.
He prayed that Almighty God grants the family the strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, while asking that the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace.
