As part of it’s annual activities, Ikeja local government under the Chairmanship of Engr. Dr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun commenced her budget retreat towards preparation for 2025 fiscal year.
Proposed revenue and expenditures for year 2025 was extensively discussed by various units heads of the local council.
In her opening welcome address, the Council Manager, Mrs. Odubeko Jullianah Taiwo welcome participants to seriously address the issues concerning the 2025 budget so that implementation of the proposed budget would be totally seamless.

She appreciated both the executive and management team for the cooperation they extended the chairman to achieve what the government was able to achieve in the outgoing year.
The Council Manager also urged the management, especially those saddled with responsibility of revenue generation to put in their best in the coming year.
The Executive Chairman in his welcome address generously appreciates all council stakeholders present at the event. “Today, we are gathered here to celebrate ourselves for a job well done in the past seven years” – Engr. Mojeed Balogun said.
“As a team, I want us to consolidate our progress so far in order for this administration to deliver on the ongoing projects that we have at hand. I need the support of each and every one of you for this particular course” – the council chairman said.
The commencement of the annual budget retreat was attended by governing stakeholders of the local council.
