The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), on Monday joined key political stakeholders at an endorsement convergence organised by the Ajala Ganiyu Olawale (A.G.O) Movement in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the event, Dauda commended the convener, Ajala Ganiyu Olawale, for initiating what he described as a timely and strategic platform to mobilise grassroots and institutional support for the administration. He noted that such efforts are crucial to consolidating ongoing reforms and sustaining the gains recorded under President Tinubu’s leadership.

“This movement reflects the growing confidence in the administration’s direction and the collective resolve to deepen progressive governance,” he said.

The convergence attracted a broad spectrum of party leaders and stakeholders from across Ikeja and Ojodu, including the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odumbaku; APC Ikeja LGA Chairman, Hon. Adebowale Adetoro; APC Ojodu LCDA Chairperson, Alhaja Stella Olusola Kokumo; Vice Chairman of Ikeja LGA, Hon. Abisola Omisore; Vice Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Alhaja Kafayat Funmilayo Layeni; Chief of Staff to Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Dr. Bayo Ayo; APC Ward A Chairman, Chief Mobolaji Ganiyu (Soku); as well as councillors, party leaders and supporters.

Observers said the large turnout and level of participation underscored Ikeja’s alignment with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and signalled strong grassroots backing for President Tinubu’s second-term bid.
