IKEJA GAMES: Ward F, I pip Ward G, J to pick tickets for Sunday’s Football Semifinal

The third and fourth Quarterfinal matches for the football event of the ongoing Ikeja Games powered by Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke were concluded on Friday at the Opebi Primary School off Allen, Ikeja, Lagos State

The third and fourth Quarterfinal matches for the football event of the ongoing Ikeja Games powered by Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke were concluded on Friday at the Opebi Primary School off Allen, Ikeja, Lagos State

Team Ward F, Ogba-Oluwole/Shogunro

The third pairing between Ward F and G ended in favour of the Ogba-Oluwole/Shogunro side from Ward F who managed to convert their chance through Abiola Olasunkanmi who scored from a set piece effort for Ward F against the team from Oke-Ira in the early minutes of the derby game that pitched two teams from Ojodu LCDA to slug it out for the third semifinal ticket

Team Ward I, GRA/Police Barracks

The fourth quarterfinal game was also separated by a single goal as the Ward I GRA/Police Barracks team scored against the match venue host Opebi/Allen of Ward J in the late minutes of the first half and held on till the full-time whistle.
