The last three hours have witnessed many people sharing the long speech which they claim belongs to the Vice President where he allegedly disclosed that he has intimated President Muhammadu Buhari of his ambition to take over from him.

Many have asked whether the speech was indeed from the Vice President.

When contacted by the NPO Reports Monday evening, Laolu Akande, the Special Adviser to Osinbajo on Media described the speech in circulation as “Fake News.”

This is about the second time rumour would be rife that the Vice President has declared his intention to run for the presidency.
