Mr Jelili Jimoh(H.O.A) gladly welcomed the Local Government Service Commission Chairman, Permanent Secretaries and the entire team to the Council (Iba LCDA) yesterday Thursday 24th, February 2022.

The delegation of the commission included but not limited to Hon. Kamal Ayinde Bayewu (Chairman, Lagos State Service Commission),Mr. B. M. Daba, (Permanent Secretary of the Commission), Mrs Kikelomo Bolarinwa (Permanent Secretary, Local Government Establishment Staff and Training) and other prominent members and staff of the Commission to mention few.

The Monitoring Team was very diligent and strict with its assignment as it addressed lot of matters combating the local government as a whole and the welfarism of Members of Staff in the Local Government.

The Commission visitation was purported at checkmating and strengthening the members of staffs of the local government by ensuring their diligence, punctuality and commitment for more productivity.

The Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Kamal A. Bayewu asked the members of staff on the Working Conditions, Ethics, Operations and leadership traits of the New leadership of the Council, ‘the whole staff testified to the glorious and awesome treat of the Council Boss by shouting Mr Koséléri, saying most of the positive things that eluded the Council are beginning to happen including the welfare and motivation of the workers.

The Commission Chairman, thereby appraised the Executive Chairman of Iba LCDA Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (ABILA), Stating that the response of the Members of Staff has really affirmed his popular nickname as been adopted by the people across the state before his arrival as tagged “MR. KOSELERI”, for his commendable work, the ability and capacity to revive for better the status of the Local Council from what it use to be to what we have now witnessing within this short period of time he assumed Office and even the Local Government Executive Council yet.

He further addressed the issue of the Council’s year 2022 Budget, admonished and urged the members of Staff to intensify effort on the internally generated revenue for the growth of the Local Council so as to keep the working Council Mayor on site for more projects.

Other relevant and viable issues were raised and discussed for more prosperous development for the benefit of the local government, which include staff training & Seminar, Health Insurance scheme, Welfarism, more Motivation packages for diligent staff and others sacred benefits.

The Question and Answer section of the program was magnificent, as brilliant questions were raised by the ever intellectual members of staff of our noble Local Council and the Commission did justice to them all.

The Council Manager Mr. Jelili Jimoh gave the closing remarks by appreciating the Chairman of the Commission, the Permanent Secretaries and other Members of the Commission for their time.

He promised to work tirelessly with the wonderful Members of staff by contributing the needed workforce together to make the local government and the commission proud.
