It was glitz and glamour on Tuesday when the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ikeja Chapter formally welcome back the People’s Democratic Party returnee Hon Mutiu Kunle Okunola and his teeming supporters back to the progressive fold.

Party Chairman used the medium to profoundly appreciate the support of Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson, Women Leader APC southwest for the event which coincided with the party’s Ileya celebration had in attendance numerous party leaders which include the former executive Chairman Ikeja Local Government Mayor Alani Okikioposu, Party Executives and faithful from the 6 wards of Ikeja.
While speaking with Lagos Panorama Okunola expressed his happiness for his home coming. “As we all know that politics is local, so today is a great day for me and my followers, I am very happy for my home coming, you can see the massive turnout of my supporters dressed in our attire and the reception accorded us from our LGA Party Chairman Alhaji Dally Adeokun, other executives and all members of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress, is quite overwhelming. I have always been a stakeholder here. I was with the party since the Alliance for Democracy which metamorphose into APC. I will continue to make my contributions to the growth of the party”.
“My home coming today is a carnival of some sort, dinning, singing and dancing with old and new faces in the party in a very happy and merry atmosphere. Don’t forget this is our National Leader’s local government so we must lead with good example” an elated Okunola asserted.
“As I mentioned during my declaration that I joined APC to sink PDP in Lagos state and make the state a one party state. I was in the PDP to learn some lessons and now I am back home. My main focus now is to convince and support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President come 2023 by God’s grace” the TNN (2023) National Coordinator concluded.
