HoS Cup: LNSA beat defending champions LASTMA, pick ticket for quarterfinal

Team Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency LNSA has defeated the Lagos State Traffic Management – LASTMA Team 4-3 in the resultant penalty shootout after a pulsating 1-1 draw, to qualify for the quarter finals of the 2021 edition of the HOS Football competition at the football pitch of the Lagos State Rehabilitation Center, Isheri.

The match had ended in a one all draw with the LASTMA team drawing the first blood via a free kick that beat the wall in the first half, while the Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan inspired Team, LNSA equalized in the 85th minute following a series of raids by the LNSA Team in the second half.

Following the stalemate, the match resorted to penalties in which the LNSA goalkeeper saved two penalties as his colleagues scored four spot kicks to emerge victorious over the defending champions.

In his post match speech, Prince Oyekan representated by the assistant director of Admin and Hr à1 applauded the players while encouraging them to pick the trophy on their attempt which will be another first in the history of the Championship.

The General Manager donated financial aid to the players for the victory and promised more if the Team proceed to the next round.
