HON. James Abiodun Faleke massively empowers constitutents in tens of hundred after an intensive one-week long capacity development and skill acquisition training

James Abiodun Faleke empowers constitutents in Ikeja federal constituency in a one-week capacity development programme as over 900 shortlisted constituents participated and benefitted from one training programme or the other.

The capacity development training held across various training centers in Ikeja had constitutents been trained in Information and communication technology (ICT), fish farming techniques, and entrepreneurship skills.

Participants numbering a total of 480 were trained on diverse skill acquisition programme which include; hair making, beauty and make-up artistry, bricklaying, car painting, electrification, carpentary and furniture making, fashion designing, as well as other artisanship skills.

A total of 132 beneficiaries were trained ICT knowledge which include; Basic computer skills, computer programming, hardware technologies and basic troubleshooting skills.

In another circle, 120 beneficiaries participated in fisheries and fishing farming techniques, 100 members of National Union of Road Transport Workers, Ikeja Chapter (NURTW) were also trained on transport business operations, while another set of 100 unemployed youths participated in business entrepreneurship training.

Participants were given financial grants and tools as business support so as to support and expand scope of their business operations. Financial grants ranging from #50,000 to #124,000 were given to trainees while ICT trainees were given brand new Lenovo portable computer (Laptop) each.

Hon. James Faleke in partnership with some agencies ensured trainees were given an intensive training programmes.

Training agencies include; Aptech Technologies, New Horizon Computer Institute, National Institute for Fresh Water and Fisheries Research, and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

A mega graduation ceremony was first held for some set of graduands on Saturday 20th of November 2021 at the Academy Guest house and event centre in Agidingbin,Lagos while another mega graduation ceremony for another set was held on Sunday 21st of November,2021 @ Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Lagos.

The graduation ceremony was attended by some top APC party leaders and stakeholders, as well other party loyalists in Ikeja federal constitutency
