The Mandate Movement (TMM) group has urged Nigerians to be patient with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration economy policies.
The group in a special meeting held at it GRA, Ikeja Office on Tuesday with representatives from all the 377 wards of Lagos State and newly appointed senatorial leaders and local government coordinators.
The Leader of the TMM, Cardinal James Odunmbaku informed all members of the group to go to their neighbourhoods and promote the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of the President Tinubu.
The erstwhile APC Deputy State Chairman noted that the current hardship situation in the country is as a result of the already destroyed economy before the current administration and stated that the president is doing everything possible to revive the economy but need some time to correct the situation.
Odunmbaku said to the teeming members of TMM “We all owe this government the duty of informing all our neighbours to understand the situation, that President Tinubu need some time to correct the rots, he’s already recovering some stolen money and with time he’s going to fix the country’s economy for the better”.
He also urged members of the group not to be distracted and remain focus.
Mr. Kolawole Peregrino asked all the LGA and Ward Coordinators to commence membership drive in all their LGAs and wards for grassroots mobilization.
In her goodwill message on behalf of the women, former Member Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Funmilayo Tejuosho also urged members to be steadfast and help promote the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The renewed Mandate Movement is constituted with the National Advisory Council and the Sate Leadership
The Lagos State Leadership consist of Cardinal James Odunmbaku, Lagos Speaker Rt. Hon Mudashiru Obasa, Lagos State Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, Mr. Kolawole Peregrino and Kafilat Ogbara
The senatorial structure is constituted by Lagos East Leaders is Sen Adeseye Ogunlewe with Hon Rotimi Abiru as the Secretary
Lagos Central Leader is Hon Mosuru Alao with Ahmed Olaofe as the Secretary.
Lagos West 1 Leader is Hon Olufemi Adebanjo and Mr. Olabode Olaniyan as the Secretary, while Lagos West 2 Leader is Rt Hon Kolawole Taiwo and Amida Abdul as Secretary.
Cardinal Odunmbaku stated that all the LGA Coordinators appointed during the campaigns are to maintain their respective positions only if they are incompetent to perform.
