Dr. Okudero gave the assurance in his address at the Hospital’s 6th Stakeholders’ Forum themed: “Our Clients, Our Family”, held on Thursday at the Ijede Local Government Council Secretariat, affirming that patients are regarded as family members of the medical facility. He maintained that the management will not rest on its oars in its efforts to deliver prompt medical care and good customer service to all and sundry.

He said that the hospital administration is doing all in its capacity to ensure that the comfort and speedy recovery of patients are not taken for granted, noting that this will continue to be delivered with love, compassion and empathy.

Speaking further, the Medical Director informed that management and members of staff of the facility understand what it means to be challenged healthwise, promising all will be done to ensure continuous training and retraining of staff in order to continue to give clients quality medical care and attention while exhibiting customer-friendly attitude at all times.

His words, “Families tell each other the truth, we are always willing and ready to make the hospital better while aiming to attain global best practices in quality healthcare delivery. Your complaints are appreciated, we are giving you the assurance that they will be treated with utmost urgency and seriousness”.

In his contribution, Commissioner II, Lagos State Health Service Commission (HSC) in charge of the facility, Dr. Bolaji Olukoya, reiterated the State Government’s efforts toward improved quality healthcare delivery in the state, adding that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has invested a lot in the health sector to make life more meaningful and impactful for residents.

While encouraging stakeholders to continue making visitations to the hospital for all their medical needs, Dr. Olukoya maintained that a healthy nation is a wealthy nation and that every life matters in the State.

Other speakers at the event include the Director, Service Delivery Unit, Lagos State Ministry of Health, Mrs. Joan Oluyemi and the representative of the Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area, Mr. Abdul-Kabir Kareem among others.
