Onigbongbo Swears in Councillors at 6th Legislative Proclamation, Francis Nkwo takes the helm

The inauguration of the Sixth Legislative Proclamation of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area took place on Monday, 28th, with Francis Nkwo being sworn in as Leader, alongside newly elected Councillors who took the oath of office administered by the Legal Officer at the Council’s legislative chamber.

The inauguration of the Sixth Legislative Proclamation of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area took place on Monday, 28th, with Francis Nkwo being sworn in as Leader, alongside newly elected Councillors who took the oath of office administered by the Legal Officer at the Council’s legislative chamber.

The ceremony was attended by key stakeholders and overseen by Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, who expressed gratitude to All Progressives Congress, APC, Party Leaders, Political Associates, and loyalists for their support across various wards.

The Leader, Hon Francis Nkwo, who represents Ward B, thanked his colleagues and party leaders for the trust placed in him to lead the Council’s Legislative Assembly, pledging to work collaboratively with his colleagues for the advancement of the council and the welfare of Onigbongbo LCDA’s residents.

In a prior interview with Lagos Panorama, Nkwo stated his intention to model himself after the esteemed Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, who prioritizes the welfare of his constituents, and pledged to maintain an open-door policy, receptive to the needs of the people.

He emphasized the importance of fostering a productive working relationship between the legislative and executive branches for the benefit of the populace.
