A former Chairman of Lagos Island in Lagos State, Alhaji Fatai Abayomi Adekunle is dead, he died on Sunday 17th April, 2022.

The cause of his death cannot be determined as of the time of publishing this report.

The Executive Chairman Lagos Island Local Government, Prince Tijani Adetoyese Olusi, announced on his Facebook page: “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un”

“With total submission to the will of Allah, we commiserate with the entire Adekunle family on the demise of our political father, Alhaji Fatai Abayomi Adekunle, who died on Sunday 17th April,2022.”

“Alhaji Fatai Abayomi Adekunle was the former LGA Chairman, Lagos Island.”

“May Allah be with all the families he left behind, forgive all his shortcomings and grant him Aljanat Frida’us. (Aameen)” he concluded.
