Footprints of David Arts Foundation, an international acclaimed Children Theatre Group will on Saturday, August 14, 2021, stage the performance of “Obi At’orogbo”, a Yoruba Classic Ballet put together by Seun Awobajo at the Lagos Theatre, Epe.

The initiative, which is in partnership with Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and hosted by the Special Adviser, Mr. Solomon Bonu, will further bring to life cultural activities and performances at the Epe Theatre.

While noting that the indigenous playlet would attended by the paramount rulers in Epe and the Chairman of Epe Local Government, Princess Olayemi Animashaun, as well as the Chairmen of other Local Councils within Epe division, Bonu urged indigenes of the town to join dignitaries at the venue of the event.

The Special Adviser stated that the approval of Governor Sanwo-Olu to stage the drama in Epe Theatre shows the inclusive disposition of the Governor and his determination to make sure that Lagosians have the feel of government, irrespective of their places of residence across the State.

Recall that Footprints of David Arts Foundation had earlier staged the grand performance of the cultural playlet at Glover Memorial Hall in June, at an event attended by Governor Sanwo-Olu, his wife, top government functionaries, veterans in the film and music industry among several others.

The drama piece, titled: “Obi ati Orogbo”, also debuted at the grand finale of the Lagos@50 celebrations.
