The Aderinola/Adebayo and Adeniyi Families, friends and well-wishers joined the immediate family of Prince (Elder) Abiola S. Aderinola in a farewell Thanksgiving Service at the Immanuel Baptist Church and a reception at the Comfort Event Center on Sunday 22nd of September.

Prince Abiola S. Aderinola (JP) who after a brief illness slept in the LORD on Tuesday 13th August 2024 at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
Reverend Peter Adelabu of the Immanuel Baptist Church, Ago-Ogungbe, Olorunda LCDA, Badagry, during his Thanksgiving Service Sermon described the late Elder as a very discipline, upright and always stand for the truth without fear or favour.
The former Vice-Chairman of Ago-Ogungbe CDA, Prince Abiola Aderinola of the Adebayo Royal Family of the Olodo of Olodo Ruling Dynasty joined the Nigerian Army in 1963 shortly after a meritorious secondary education.

The former ‘Radio Man’ to the then Head of State of Nigeria, General Olusegun Obasanjo (RTD), retired in 1985 from the Nigerian Army Elite Corp, Signal Regiment after an excellent military career and service to the nation.
He was an alumnus (1977) of the Cartridge Garrison Signal Training School, North Yorkshire, England. He also bagged distinguished performance medals for his outstanding performance at the United Nations Peace Keeping Corp, NIBAT 1982, the last set of the Nigerian Peace Keeping Force to the Mideast led by late General Mamman J. Vatsa.

Pa Abiola Aderinola was a distinguished Elder of the Immanuel Baptist Church till he passed, and observed his pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1982, he is fondly remembered for his selfless Community Leadership (a Former CDA Vice Chairman) who facilitated and maintained public water for the Ago-Ogungbe community in the Olorunda LCDA of Badagry
He challenged and petitioned against Eko Electric spurious estimated bill of 35 million naira to his community, he challenged the fraudulent claim and eventual won the battle as electricity was restored a day before his triumphant departure from the sinful world after 9 months of blackout in the community.



Pa Abiola Aderinola is survived by his first son, Publisher/Editor of Lagos Panorama and Nollyhood Actor ‘Tayo Aderinola, Emmanuel, Oyindamola and grandchildren Lateef Idris, Yewande Aderinola, Abisola Aderinola and Oluwalase Aderinola, nephews/nieces, cousins and a host of others.

The Aderinola’s entertained family, friends and community members in a reception at the Comfort Event Centre, off Magbon Bus-Stop, Badagry Expressway, Olorunda LCDA, Badagry, Lagos State.
