Faleke’s free medical outreach has provided benefits to over 6,000 individuals -DOTMA

Dr. Joseph Kigbu, Head of Medical Team at Doctors on the Move Africa (DOTMA), announced that the Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke’s Medical Outreach has provided benefits to over 6,000 individuals, with only seven days remaining until the culmination of the sixth edition of the annual healthcare initiative.
Dr. Joseph Kigbu, Head of Medical Team at Doctors on the Move Africa (DOTMA), announced that the Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke’s Medical Outreach has provided benefits to over 6,000 individuals, with only seven days remaining until the culmination of the sixth edition of the annual healthcare initiative. 
 
This announcement was made on June 30th at the Ifako Ijaiye General Hospital in Lagos while speaking to the Lagos Panorama crew.
Dr Kigbu confirmed that various surgeries, including Fibroid, Goitre, Hernia, and eye surgeries, have been successfully performed by different doctors in their respective fields of specialty.
He remained optimistic that a greater number of individuals would be attended to over the remaining days to cover the shortfall.
Dr. Kigbu praised Honorable James Faleke’s bold initiative and collaborative endeavors.
He pointed out that the organization has been established for over 20 years, operating in 29 states of the federation.
During an interview with Lagos Panorama, several beneficiaries conveyed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for this kind gesture and prayed for the Almighty God’s continued guidance and protection for Honorable Falake in his political pursuits.
The annual free medical outreach initiated by Faleke has successfully performed over a hundred eye surgeries within the ongoing free healthcare initiative that commenced in Ikeja Local Government, progressed to Ojodu LCDA, Onigbongbo LCDA, the Palace of HRM Oba Olusegun Ajasa, the king of Onigbongbo kingdom, and is currently being held at the Police Barracks Health Centre, opposite Area F, Ikeja, Lagos where the 15-day 6th Rt hon James Abiodun Faleke Medical outreach will conclude on the 4th of July 2025.
