The top-rank Member of the House of Representatives for the Ikeja Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke has again massively empowered members of his constituents in another JAF Mega Empowerments programme at the Police College Ikeja, Lagos State on Thursday. the third in the series.
He distributed 10 Pickup Vehicles to Security Agencies, three Ambulances donated to Ikeja LG, Ojodu and Onigbongbo LCDAs, 200 mini-buses, 18 tricycles and vocational equipment such as deep freezers with generators to power them, industrial sewing machines, complete barbing equipment, hairdresser dryers, grinding machines and a host of others to aid small-scale businesses within the Ikeja Federal Constituency, the political base of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), League of Imams and Royal Fathers were also presented with different vehicles.
During his keynote address the experienced lawmaker seeking a fourth term, Rt. Hon Faleke, thanked the APC faithful and other members of the constituents embarking on campaigns for him and his principal, Asiwaju Tinubu, despite his task as the Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
“Thank you all for standing by us, myself and Asiwaju, thank you for the rigorous campaign while we were busy with the task for the Presidential election of our great leader”
He further said, “this is the third empowerment programme this term, over six thousand people have benefited. There are no bases for anybody to complain, except the lazy ones”.
“I am able to do all these because I deprived myself, you’re major priority, your happiness is my happiness. The happier you’re the happier we are, and we’ll continue to do more”
The Secretary of APC Presidential Campaign Council urged them to turn out massively and vote for the renewed hope, APC Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all other party candidates come 25th February 2023.
Recall that Lagos Panorama reported that the amiable and charismatic third-term federal lawmaker had bagged the Lagos Panorama SDG Most Distinguished Legislator Award for empowering over 3,000 residents in the earlier 2 series of empowerments where 200 mini-buses, 150 tricycles and other vocational equipment were distributed to youths and other residents to aid economic independence. While over 5,000 constituent members have also benefited from the vocational training and cash grants facilitated by the distinguished High Chief Akorede-Atunluse of Ikeja-Land James Abiodun Faleke.
The 2022 JAF Mega Empowerment was massively attended, the Chairman of the occasion, APC State Chairman was represented by the Deputy State Chairman Moshood Maiyegun who commended the good efforts of Rt. Hon Faleke for putting smiles on the faces of Ikeja Constituents.
Also in attendance were the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, and Councils Chairmen from Ikeja Local Government and Onigbongbo LCDA.
The Chair of Chairmen of the 57 LGA Chairmen and Chairman APC Ikeja LGA, Maiyegun Dally Adeokun, Chairpersons APC Ojodu and Onigbongbo LCDAs, Hon Shola Kokumo and Alhaja Iyabode Akerele respectively led the party faithful across the 18 wards of Ikeja Federal Constituency and their LGA Executives.
Maiyegun Adeokun in the appreciation message on behalf of the party leaders expressed gratitude to the MHR for his continuous support for the party and promised that the party will ensure that the good gesture is translated to a massive victory for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Rt. Hon Abiodun Faleke, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and all other APC candidates in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Over 5,000 bags of rice and beans were distributed to attendees of the event by the National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA).
