The Oba in Council of Ikeja, Onigbongbo and Ojodu on Friday 7th January 2022, has recognized and installed the federal lawmaker, Member House of Representatives (MHR) for the Ikeja Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke and his amiable wife, Chief Mrs. Esther Bukunola Faleke with the traditional titles of Atunlushe-Akorede and Yeye Atunlushe-Akorede of Ikeja-Land respectively, in a coronation ceremony at the palace of HRM Oba Olusegun Adeyemi Ajasa, Olaside 1, Awise of Onigbongbo Kingdom.

The federal lawmaker representing the Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke and his amiable wife, Chief Mrs. Esther Bukunola Faleke were on Friday conferred with the traditional chieftaincy titles of Atunlushe-Akorede and Yeye Atunlushe-Akorede respectively, of Ikeja-Land, in a coronation ceremony at the palace of HRM Oba Olusegun Adeyemi Ajasa, Olaside 1, Awise of Onigbongbo Kingdom.

It was glitz and glamour at the well-attended reception, as King Sunny Ade entertained guests at the Nigerian Police College Ground, GRA, Ikeja, that had in attendance the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, Senator representing Lagos West, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, and other members of the House of Representatives were on ground to Honour one of their own who has been a stabilizing Force in the 9th House of Representatives but also a strong Legislative pillar in the House.

Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Mudashiru Obasa and other Members of the State Assembly including Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, Hon Folajimi Mohammed, APC Lagos Spokesperson Hon Seye Oladejo, Lagoss, Executive Chairman Ikeja Local Government, Dr. Mojeed Balogun and a host of Councils Chairmen, White Cap Chiefs, Families, other top politicians, and well wishers in their thousands gathered to celebrate Hon James Abiodun Faleke and his beautiful wife, Bukunola Faleke.

Nollyhood actors Prince Jide Kosoko, Taiwo Hassan, Kenny Saint-Brown among others, made the roll call that also include All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains and followership across the Ikeja Federal Constituency, among whom are Chairman APC Ikeja Chapter, Alhaji Dally Adeokun, the pioneer Executive Chairman Ikeja Local Government, Mayor Alani Okikioposu.

Hon Faleke expressed his gratitude to the traditional leaders and members of his constituents across the Ikeja Federal Constituency for coming together to recognize and conferred him and his amiable wife with the chieftaincy titles Atunluse Akorede and Yeye Atunluse Akorede of Ikeja.

The third-term Federal Lawmaker affirmed to Lagos Panorama his readiness to double his support and efforts in putting smile on the faces of residents of the Ikeja Federal Constituency.

Recently over 900 residents of the Ikeja Federal constituency were empowered with tools and equipment including a hundred mini buses and tricycles to aid their sources of income. Over three thousands youths and women have benefitted from the James Abiodun Faleke (JAF) Empowerment programs in the last one year, the man who has brought succour, help and sustainable development to all of Ikeja Federal Constituency.
