Faleke marks 65th birthday with food palliatives for 20,000 households, vocational training, cash grants for 1,423

Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, the Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, will be celebrating his 65th birthday with yet another humanitarian service to the residents of his constituents, as 20,000 households will receive food palliatives and 1,423 others who had undergone vocational training will receive 75,000 naira each as cash grants.

Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, the Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, will be celebrating his 65th birthday with yet another humanitarian service to the residents of his constituents, as 20,000 households will receive food palliatives and 1,423 others who had undergone vocational training will receive 75,000 naira each as cash grants.

According to Mr. Bayo Ayo Esqr, Chairman of the organizing committee, the 5-day event will commence on Friday, 20th December 2024, at the LTV Ikeja Blue Roof, with the distribution of equipment and tools to participants of various vocational trainings to aid their financial independence.

The second day of the birthday celebration will take place on Saturday, featuring the distribution of food palliatives, consisting of 10kg rice and 10kg garri, to 20,000 vulnerable individuals at the same venue.

On Monday, cash grants of 75,000 naira will be awarded to 1,423 residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency who have participated in various empowerment training programs to support their business ventures.

Tuesday, 24th December, will feature a praise and worship event, with various gospel which include Yinka Ayefele, Tope Alabi with a host of others and Muslim artists performing at the LTV Blue Roof from 8am till late night.

On Christmas Day, which coincides with the birthday of Rt. Hon. Faleke, Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, a thanksgiving celebration will be held with family, friends, associates, and well-wishers.
