—Says the movement is beyond politics, about Nigeria’s future
The Chairman, House Committee on Finance, and a foremost political strategist, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, has inaugurated the Presidential Coalition Committee (PCC) in Lagos, marking a major step toward mobilizing nationwide grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Hon. Faleke described the initiative as “a people-driven platform to consolidate the achievements of the Tinubu administration, promote understanding of ongoing reforms, and deepen citizens’ participation in governance.”
He highlighted the administration’s bold economic and structural reforms — including the removal of fuel subsidy, exchange rate unification, and renewed focus on steel, agriculture, and infrastructure — as critical steps toward rebuilding the national economy.
“The goal of this coalition,” Faleke said, “is to ensure Nigerians clearly understand the purpose and long-term benefits of these reforms. We are building a broad alliance of citizens, professionals, and youth who share the belief that Nigeria is on the path to genuine recovery.”
The event attracted political leaders, youth groups, women associations, and community stakeholders from across the country, underscoring the need for continuous dialogue between government and the governed.

Hon. Faleke — a close ally of President Tinubu and one of the key figures behind his 2023 electoral victory — reaffirmed that the Renewed Hope movement goes beyond political contest.
“We are not merely preparing for another election,” he stated. “We are preparing Nigeria for a future anchored on service, performance, and accountability.”
Speakers at the inauguration praised Hon. Faleke’s unwavering loyalty, bridge-building efforts, and consistent leadership within the Tinubu political family, describing him as “a symbol of political stability and strategic foresight.”
The newly inaugurated Presidential Coalition Committee will operate nationwide, coordinating engagements with support groups, professional bodies, and civil society organizations to expand the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s support base ahead of 2027.
Concluding his address, Hon. Faleke affirmed: “President Tinubu has laid the foundation for a stronger Nigeria. It is now our collective responsibility to sustain and defend that progress.”

The Lagos State Chapter of the Presidential Coalition Committee (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged party members and residents across the state to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise to obtain and collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The committee emphasized that participation in the electoral process begins with voter registration, warning that failure to acquire valid PVCs could result in disenfranchisement during the crucial polls.
According to the PCC, every eligible voter must be adequately prepared to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by ensuring their voices are heard through the ballot.
