Faleke empowers small scale business entrepreneurs with grants for business upgrade

Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the federal house of representatives, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke has again facilitated another round of empowerment for small-sized business owners in Ikeja Federal Constituency. The programme was held in Ikeja local government secretariat hall.

In partnership with Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR), 66 business entrepreneurs were empowered, and also given financial grant to scale up their business.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Ayo Alli-Balogun sensitized beneficiaries on the need to make use of the grant given judiciously. “It is left to you to turn this token give to you into something bigger by using the fund for nothing but your business” – Hon. Alli-Balogun said.

Representatives of NIOMR, Mrs Hogan Ihuoma, Directior of Administration, and Mrs Olufemi Bello, Director of Finance advised beneficiaries to ensure money given to them are used solely for their business. Mrs Hogan further appreciates Hon. Faleke for his good gesture which has been improving the living and economic conditions of his constitutents.

The empowerment programme was duly attended by some party leaders in Ikeja Constituency.
