The Member House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke has again facilitated empowerment training for 250 constituents in agricultural crops and livestock risk assets with hundred thousand cash grants to each of the participants in his constituent.
The amiable Federal Lawmaker in partnership with the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation, NAIC have trained the first batch of 50 constituents who completed their 2-day training and each were presented with a certificate and start up cash grant of N100,000 naira on Tuesday 4th July, 2023 at the Excellent Hotel, Ogba, Ikeja.
Second batch of 50 constituents will commence training on Wednesday at same venue.
Recall that Lagos Panorama report that Rt Hon Faleke had empowered over 5,000 constituents with various empowerment programs which include distribution of over 400 minibuses, tricycles and vocational equipment and cash grants in the last four years.
One of the beneficiaries who spoke with Lagos Panorama, Prince Demola Gbosibo on behalf of others expressed gratitude and appreciation to the former Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign.
Prince Gbosibo said “this is the first time I will benefit directly from politics in Nigeria, I have been an active politician since the days of Chief Obafemi Awolowo. This training is an eye opener to various ways one can create wealth to take care of family and relations and it is coming at the right time”.
