As the nation celebrates the second year anniversary of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration, Rt Honourable James Abiodun Faleke, a distinguished Member of the House of Representatives and esteemed legislator representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, has continued his empowerment program with another skill acquisition
training and cash grants of ₦100,000 each, benefiting two hundred and forty (240) constituents from the 18 wards, held at the Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba, Ikeja on Monday, 2nd of June 2025.
In his keynote address, Rt. Hon. Faleke congratulated participants, encouraging them to capitalize on the training to enhance their skills and invest the cash grants in business startups.
He observed that the initiative aligns with President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to empower every household to become self-sufficient.
Rt. Hon. Faleke reiterated his commitment to his constituents’ welfare, highlighting upcoming initiatives.
He focuses on addressing the needs of his constituents, consistently delivering democratic dividends. His main obligation is to serve the people.
He emphasized Eid-al-Kabir celebration packages to be distributed to constituents through traditional leaders, CDC/CDAs, CAN, Imams, artisans association and several others.
As an expression of gratitude, participants offered prayers for Rt. Hon. Faleke, while past participants shared inspiring testimonials to motivate new beneficiaries.
The affable federal legislator observed that on Tuesday, equipment will be disbursed to constituents and security agencies, including: Industrial Sewing machines, Tricycles, Generators, Deep Freezers, Dispatch motorcycle, Pumping machines, other Farming equipment, Clipper machine, Security gear, and a host of other equipment to augment the capacity of his constituents.
Moreover, 170 youths will also receive empowerment training and start-up cash on Wednesday, adding to the over 2,000 Ikeja federal constituents who have benefited from Faleke’s empowerment training and cash grants this year.
