The Most Distinguished Ranking Member, House of Representatives for the Ikeja Federal Constituency, Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, has once again facilitated another empowerment training and grants of 75,000 each to 1,423 of his constituents.
The recipients received their grants on Monday 30th December 2024, at the Excellent Hotel, Ogba, Ikeja, courtesy of the Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke facilitated Empowerment Training through the Boarder Community Development Agency.
RT Hon Faleke, who was present at the venue, ensured that the process was seamless and transparent as participants received ATM cards with preloaded 75,000 grants for their respective businesses.
Also, 240 POS machines were issued to physically challenged individuals and other nominated trainees.
According to the Coordinator of the training progran, Mr. Bayo Ayo, “this landmark event highlights Faleke’s dedication to his ‘Service to the People Continues’ initiative, ensuring that everyone in Ikeja Federal Constituency benefits from democratic dividends”.
“The initiative has given hope to physically challenged individuals, enabling them to establish their own businesses”.
The Legal Practitioner noted that “Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke’s Empowerment Program has consistently demonstrated a steadfast commitment to community development over the past six years, with plans for continuous training initiatives in 2025”.
Recall the Lagos Panorama report in December, which highlighted his presentation of empowerment equipment and tools to small and medium-sized enterprise owners.
These donations included tricycles, deep freezers, industrial sewing machines, hairdresser dryers, and numerous other items.
A resident of Ikeja Local Government, Monsuru Oyebi, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude, testifying to the profound impact of Faleke’s dedication to empowering his constituents. His commitment to serving the community is truly commendable.
