The Chairman House Committee of Finance, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke attended the presidential inauguration of committee on fiscal policy and tax reforms which was held at the state house on Tuesday.
Recall that the president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR set up the committee some weeks ago which is to be chaired by Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Taiwo Oyedele.
Statutorily, all heads of revenue agencies are to be part of the committee and chairmen of finance of the National Assembly are also in the committee which Rt. Hon. Faleke being one them.
The president charged the committee members to deliver beyond expectations so as to meet up with the fiscal demands and financial obligations of the government and fulfil the renewed hope agenda.
