Fagbemi, Maman take oath as swearing -in of Tinubu’s ministers begins

The swearing in of the 45 ministers-designate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has kicked off in Aso Rock presidential villa, Abuja.

The swearing in of the 45 ministers-designate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has kicked off in Aso Rock presidential villa, Abuja.

The swearing ceremony was being attended by President Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shetimma, Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas and some state governors.

The Ministers are being sworn in batches of five.

The first batch of the ministers- designate sworn in was led by Lateef Fagbemi, the designated Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.

Others sworn in in the first batch are Nkiru Onyechoja, Ekperipe Ekpo, Uju Ken Ohaneye and Prof Tahir Maman. The second batch of the Ministers- designate sworn in were Prof Mohammed Ali Pate, Ambassador Yusuf Tugar, Heinekein Lokpobori, Prof Joseph Utsev and Kyari Abubakar.
