After a three-day brainstorming sessions at Eko Hotel venue of the Retreat, members of the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee comprising leadership of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Commissioners for Finance, Accountants-General and Inland Revenue Agencies of the 36 States of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The team led by the Honourable Minister of Finance represented by the Permanent Secretary, Chairman of the FAAC and Benue State Commissioner for Finance and the Host Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Rabiu Olowo decided to create a relaxed atmosphere for conviviality and unwind by all the delegates.
With over 120 delegates, the coastal beach of Ilashe in Oriade LCDA is the venue with a lot to eat, drink and joyful music to dance to.
LAGFERRY – the enabler of this tourism lead provided 4 medium sized boats to commute the delegates from Five Cowries Terminal, Falomo-Ikoyi to Ilashe Beach, a journey of 21km within 38 minutes while security was provided by men of Marine Police, Lagos Command.
The trip ended with all delighted delegates disembarked on MV Mobolaji Johnson, MV Bola Tinubu, MV Igbega Eko and MV Ipakodo and all the boats safely anchored at Five Cowries Terminal.
