EPL: Ex-Man Utd star predicts position Liverpool will finish under Klopp this season

Former Manchester United star, Robbie Savage, has backed Liverpool to finish in the top four positions on the Premier League table this season under their manager, Jurgen Klopp.

Former Manchester United star, Robbie Savage, has backed Liverpool to finish in the top four positions on the Premier League table this season under their manager, Jurgen Klopp.

Savage believes Liverpool cannot win the Premier League title this season, adding that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will retain the English top-flight league.

Liverpool, who finished in the second position on the Premier League table last season, are currently in the 7th position on the log this season after winning only two of their six games so far.

The Reds also started their Champions League campaign with a heavy 4-1 defeat against Napoli a few days ago.

In his column for The Mirror, Savage wrote: “Something needs to be done quickly. Klopp is an unbelievable manager, and I hugely admire him. But now, he needs to call on all his managerial skills.

“It’s a fascinating test. The [Premier League] title is gone, in my opinion, already. It’s a worry. When I say worry, the worry for Liverpool is staying in the top four. Man City will win it.”
