The Lagos State House of Assembly has set up a 9-Man Adhoc Committee headed by the Deputy Speaker, Hon Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni, to investigate the destruction of properties and loss of lives by hoodlums during the #Endsars protest.
The primary aim of the exercise is to mitigate the losses suffered by the people in the state by:
1. Interfacing with the victims, relevant stakeholders and community leaders
2. Ascertain the level of destruction
3. Determine the level of compensation and restitution where necessary
and;
4. Make recommendations towards preventing future occurrence of such incidents in the State.
