#EndSARS: Hon Olakanle on an on-the-spot assessment of vandalized Sites in Onigbongbo LCDA

The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon Oladotun Olakanle and his team on Monday 26th of October 2020 visited ‘Vandalized Dr Abayomi Finnih’s Park’ and the ”Burnt Oregun Theatre’ both in Oregun community under Onigbongbo LCDA for an on the spot assessments of damage done.

Dr Oluyomi Finnih’s park was vandalized while the Oregun theatre was set ablaze by the hoodlums who hijacked the peaceful #EndSARS protests in the area of on the spot assessment.

The Council Chairman and the leader of the Onigbongbo Legislative Council, Hon Seyi Lawal led the team on the inspection.

After a thorough assessment of the losses recorded by the ‘Head of Administration’ (HOA) Mr Muhiz Ademola Azeez, the Council Boss frowned at the magnitude of destructions of both private and public properties while he described it as an act of criminality against humanity.

In an interview with Lagos Panorama at the weekend Hon Olakanle stated that “Together we can make our respective communities better. Governance is all about being responsive and committed to the cause of the common man”.

Also present at the inspection site were: the LGA chairman Alh Kehinde Onifade, LGA secretary Alh Rasheed Akinola, Deputy leader Hon Rasheed Isiaka, Majority leader Hon Kayode Opayemi, Hon Gbenga Adedeji, Super for Environment Hon Folu Omotesho, Super for Youth& Sports Hon Rahman Adebiyi, Mr Adeleke Brown and Chief Imam Of Onigbongbo Alh AbdulWaheed Ishola.
