The lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) James Abiodun Faleke, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri 2026.
In a goodwill message marking the end of Ramadan, Faleke urged Muslim faithful to sustain prayers for peace, unity, and continued progress of the nation. He also called for support and prayers for the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu under its Renewed Hope agenda.
The federal lawmaker encouraged adherents of Islam to uphold the virtues exemplified by Prophet Muhammad, including piety, peace, love, tolerance, and good neighbourliness.
Faleke further congratulated Nigerians—particularly Lagosians and constituents of Ikeja Federal Constituency—who observed the lesser Hajj (Umrah) and I’tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan. He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts their acts of worship and grants their supplications.
He concluded by wishing Muslims in Ikeja, Lagos State, and across the country a joyous celebration, saying “Barka de Sallah,” Eid Mubarak, and a happy Eid-el-Fitri.
