DG PSSDC Elected into NITAD Council

The Director-General, Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Magodo, Lagos, Dr. Senukon Olufunmi Ajose-Harrison, has been elected as a member of the Council of the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD).

At the 24th Annual General Meeting and Elections of the Institute held at the LCCI Conference and Event Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, the Director-General polled 68 votes to pick the first of four vacant slots of the Council of Nigeria’s foremost professional membership institute.

Ajose-Harrison, who is also a Fellow of the Institute, brings on board of the Council, over three decades of service excellence in human capacity solutions, learning and development, research and management consultancy.

Also, Mrs. Agnes Igbeyi was elected the National President, succeeding Mrs. Janet Jolaoso with a total of 108 votes to defeat Asiwaju Olasunkade Azeez, who polled 107 votes during the leadership election of the Institute.

Other national officers, who were returned unopposed, included Dr. (Mrs.) Janefrancis Ijeoma Duru (1st National Vice-President), Mrs. Osondu Jaja (2nd National Vice President) and Dr. Pastor Olutoyin Senbore (National Treasurer).
