DAY 14: APC Onigbongbo Ward F engages grassroots stakeholders for Tinubu, Faleke and others

In continuation of the sensitization of voters towards the forthcoming general elections across the 18 wards in Ikeja Federal Constituency, the All Progressive Congress of Onigbongbo LCDA ward F on Wednesday had its engagement walk-through rally campaign to solicit their support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential ambition, the reelection of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and Rt. Honorable James Abiodun Faleke for the House of Representative Ikeja Federal Constituency, Dr. Idiat Adebule for Lagos West senatorial, as well as the reelection of Honorable Adedamola Richard Kasunmu and election of Prince Seyi Lawal for Lagos State House of Assembly for Ikeja Constituency 11 and 1 respectively.

The walk rally declared open by Alhaji Dally Adeokun and Alhaja Iyabo Akerele had in attendance large number of Party members, leaders, Stakeholders, LGA Executives, Counsellors, loyalists and well wishers.

Among whom was the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Honorable Oladotun Olakanle, Honorable Prince Seyi Lawal, Honorable Wale Okesola, Honorable Muyideen Kehinde Onifade, Prince Olufon and Engr Fasheun.

In his address, the LGA Chairman Ikeja, Alhaji Dally Adeokun expressed his gratitude with the turnout of Party members for the walk-through campaign and subsequently called on them to use the same zeal to mobilize others to go and get their Permanent Voters Card ready, so as to be able to vote massively for all the APC Candidates during the general elections.

He also called on the 15 man Committee per Polling unit to hasting up with the filling of the form for 20 people by commencing the House to house Campaign in other to achieve the 200,000 votes for Ikeja Federal Constituency.

Also speaking in the same vein, Alhaja Iyabo Akerele after commending and appreciating the leaders and Party members said that much is still to be done concerning the mobilization of people for the election. She therefore encouraged them to take the advantage of the extension of the collection of PVCS to go and get their Permanent Voters Card. She also promised to provide transportation for easy acess, saying without your voters card, the walk through rally campaign and all the merriments will be meaningless, she concluded.

The next host of the Ikeja Federal Constituency engagement/walk through rally is slated for Seriki Aro, ward E on Friday.
