DAY 10: Royal Father endorses Tinubu, and other APC Candidates as Anifowose Ward D hosts Ikeja Federal Constituency Walk-Through-Rally

The Anifowose ward D in Ikeja Federal Constituency on Monday hosted the All Progressive Congress (APC) Walk-Through-Rally a grassroots engagement for the sensitization of voters for all the party’s candidates which include the Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the reelection of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Dr. Idiat Adebule for Lagos West Senatorial District, the reelection of Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke, the reelection of Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu LSHA Ikeja II and the incoming Hon Seyi Lawal for LSHA Ikeja I, in the forthcoming general elections.

The rally was declared open by the APC Ikeja LGA Chairman and Chair of 57 APC Chairmen in Lagos State, Mayegun Dally Adeokun who was also joined by the Chairperson APC Ojodu LCDA, Alhaja Olusola Kokumo, that took off from Olaide Tomori Street all through Akinremi to Ogunbi zone of the ward where they made a stop-over at the resident of the Vice Chairman APC Ikeja, Prince Ranti Olufon.

The train walks through Computer Village, Oba-Akran, and other adjourning streets.

The rally have in attendance the member Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikeja Constituency 2, Honorable Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, who stand in for all other candidates, made a stop-over at the palace of Baale of Anifowoshe settlement of Ikeja, High-Chief Semiu Anifowoshe, before it terminated at Nurudeen street night market.

The royal father who gladly received the campaigners declared his support for all the APC candidates and stated that his ancestral fathers have always supported the progressives, hence his support for all the progressives candidates.

In attendance were Party leaders, LGA Executives, loyalists, Stakeholders, members and well wishers.

Hon Kasunmu in his remark stated that his presence at the rally was not only to solicit his own vote but for all other APC candidates in the coming elections.

He however implored residents and other eligible voters to mobilize and vote massively for all the APC Candidates.

Mayegun Dally Adeokun on his own part, while addressing the people, once again called on all the 15 committee members per Polling Unit, who have not collected their forms to please go to their ward Chairman and collect, so as to start the House to house mobilization.

He also reminded them of the need to inform the people of the need to get their Permanent Voters Card ready for the election so as to vote for all the APC candidates in the February 25th and March 11 polls.

Consequently speaking in the same vein, was one of the Party leaders from Onigbongbo LCDA, Alhaji Kehinde Onifade who said that thousands of PVC are still yet to be collected from INEC, he urged them to go and get their PVC to be able to vote for all APC Candidates.

The Campaign rally train move to Ojodu ward D on Wednesday and Onigbongbo ward D on Friday respectively.
